Hello all,     I finally got time to work on my January 2017 memories layout.  I decided to make a simple layout for the Chinese New Year!     For the Chinese New Year, I went to a Tibetan monastery at New Jersey to celebrate with other buddhists.  I had a wonderful time there.  Everyone chanted and prayed together for a good year ahead.  I felt very peaceful after all the chantings.  Afterwards, we could write on the prayer flags for all the wishes.  For me writing on the prayer flags is very interesting because it is part of Tibetan tradition.         This layout i used a lot of colors which are inspired by the beautiful items from the monastery.

Hello All,         This is the year of Rooster.  I decided to make some red envelops myself.  I made one especially for my daughter.  She's trying to get into a pre-college program which requires audition and it's extremely competitive.  I made one with my well wishes and encouragement.     The seal script on this envelop is Rooster. The Tibetan on this envelops means "Blessings and Good luck".
