Thanksgiving Weekend


I had a wonderful dinner with my family yesterday. Food was great.  On top of that, I have Friday off!  Yay!

After last night's Thanksgiving dinner, I was full, happy and felt very creative!  I picked up the paint brush and started doodling.


Once I finished the background, I used sumi ink to write "Thanksgiving" in Chinese.  I am very grateful for my family, friends, my job, my co-workers, my gift of drawing, health and my good  neighbors... just to name a few things.  Also, many thanks for people who have been supporting me through internet.  Thank you!

Finding inspirations in everyday life - Tire Rims

I dropped off my car at the mechanic for oil change this morning.  While I was waiting for my car, I noticed some cars have really cool tires.  Since I was tired of flipping through the magazines, I started sketching the tire rims. I drew the tire rim using a HB pencil. I shaded in the dark area. I drew the tire rim for my car. In addition to the tire rim, I drew the tire and the tracking marking. I worked on the shading of the last tire.

Cinnamon Meilleure WIP
