    My daughter does not have precollege classes this Saturday due to holiday.  Yay!  I can have a break!  Since I am the one drives her to the city where her precollege program is every Saturday, I don't get to sleep in as much as I would like to.  Just to remind myself that I don't have to set my alarm clock the night before.  I did a little drawing in my planner as a reminder. When I walked down to the train station one morning, I saw this little girl waiting for the school bus with a bunch of kids.   She had a very cute outfit on.  She reminded me of my daughter when she was young.  I enjoyed buying her and dressing her up in cute outfits.  It brought back a lot of good memories.  Of course, I had to draw this cute little girl in my planner. Whenever I have time, I often listens to speeches from different speakers.  When I had an aha moment, I would write it down.  In addition, I would reflect on what I need to improve or any of beliefs need to be changed.   I took a day off from work to attend Manhattan School of Music's precollege orientation.    The faculty at MSM did a wonderful presentation.  I found it very informative and helpful.  One can feel the school really cares about the students and really want to help out.     I can definitely feel all the staffs at MSM, students and parents all have the love for music!  What a great way to meet great people! Ever since I brought my fountain pens, I had been writing down quotes to practice my handwriting.  I would love to share some of the quotes I love. This is my September monthly layout work-in-progress. I love all the doodles I have drawn.  What a fun way for me to record what I have done!

For this journal page, I used Noodler's black swan in Australian roses! It has beautiful shading. The color is lovely. However, the ink does take a long time to dry. What is your favorite fountain pen ink?

Playing with some colors last night.  I'm trying to fix different colors and get to know what kind of colors I can create.

I had my first Chinese brush painting class for the fall! I'm always happy to see my teacher and classmates! I drew a chinese rabbit figurine!

My pet rabbit, Nefertiti, turns 3 months old today. She's a lot of work but she gives me a lot of joy!  She is a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.  She should only go up to three pounds once she becomes an adult.  Her favorite activity is eating and more eating!  She has her own play pen so that she can run, jump and hop as much as she wants. Okay.. I have to go because I have to attend to my 3 month old Nefertit, aka Niffy!

I limited my color to blues. The doodles came out beautifully. Don't forget to do something you love today! Happy Thursday!
